STUDYING THE POWER OF ART TO CONNECT PEOPLE TO THEIR ENVIROMENT.
Watershed Movements is a unique initiative designed to study the relationship between embodied art practice, storytelling, river health, and participant well-being. Both the Raquette and Genesee watersheds face similar challenges, including pollutants stemming from stream bank erosion, wastewater treatment plants, and septic systems. Our objective is to investigate whether community members perceive a connection between the river’s health and their own well-being.
